Born and raised in Alabama, Dr. Sharon Adhami graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry in 2005 and happily made her home here in Spring Hill, with her husband, Dr. Ahmad Adhami (former owner/pharmacist of B&B Pharmacy and owner of B&B Apothecary), their two children, and dog.

Dr. Sharon loves supporting her local community.  Since 2011, she has volunteered with the Spring Hill Lion's Club to provide free vision screenings to hundreds of preschoolers yearly at multiple schools throughout the area.  Dr. Sharon is also Secretary, Board Member, and an active member of the Spring Hill/Thompson's Station Rotary Club.  With the Rotary, she helps to organize annual events such as the Grey Ghost 5K and Sip & Savor at the Station in Thompson's Station, which benefit the community by giving back to local schools and parks.  She has served on the ballpark committee for the Lions Club, helping to organize its summer t-ball/softball teams and communicate with coaches and parents.  Dr. Sharon is also on the scholarship committees for both the Lions Club and Rotary, which provide scholarships to area high school seniors to help further their education. And in her spare time, she has served as team manager for her son's travel soccer team and has been a member of the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce, Spring Hill Connect, and RISE Women's Society.

In 2012-13 and 2016-17, Dr. Sharon Adhami was given the Spring Hill Lions Club Lion of the Year Award, received the Presidential Choice Award in 2016, and was humbled by being awarded the Melvin Jones Fellow Award for her service to the club in 2018-19.  Also a Rotarian since 2011, Dr. Adhami was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow in 2019.
